You will find these old Singers are wonderful machines, more capable than most newer models. Keep it cleaned and oil it regularly and you'll never be disappointed. I've sewn on an electric 1930 model 101 for years, using it for everything from clothing to boat canvas, something most newer machines can't handle, and I just acquired a 'new' 1916 treadle model 66. Production for the 66s began in 1910 and they have a loyal following to this day. Here's a link for a manual showing threading diagrams, oiling points and other information. Congrats on a great find.
